Hello, I have something fun I wanted to share. A friend of mine is borrowing a camera from her videographer boyfriend to take pics for a project. Obviously that meant an opportunity to get some amazing pictures taken for my blog, of course! Now, even though I have been sitting on these pictures for a while now, looking back at them I am still so obsessed with the look I had chosen to go with. I thought I’d write a little bit about this look, my style inspos, and how I actually put looks together.
Originally I wanted to add some colour to this shoot and actually ended up taking my original shots with my iPhone, in an outfit which included a red velvet blazer, it was lush. The outfit was very nice, super put together and elegant but I realised I wanted something a little more fun but also something which stayed true to every element of my style philosophy. For this outfit I decided to add in the fun mixed with a little English heritage, kept it feminine with the layering but also chose to make a statement with an oversized blazer.
Soft and sophisticated layering is something I really do enjoy doing and will talk about a little bit more in my future posts. I also really enjoy a heritage pieces such as a checked blazer, wool number or checked mini skirt just to add that obvious touch of timelessness when I am going full playful with a look.
