Friday Finds: Mango

Everything on the highstreet is starting to get me a little bit more excited about the holiday season to come (is that even possible!?). One of my favourite things about the coming winter months is the fact that there will always be a reason to dress up. Whether that be for friends giving, birthday dinners, pre-holiday parties or the big holiday days themselves! I am here for it all!

During this time of year, I often opt for shopping for interesting but timeless accessories. However this year, I think I’m going to look for a decent dress that has lots of versatility and that can be worn over and over again. Mango is always on my radar for all things fabulous and timeless as they never seem to miss the mark with their classic but captivating designs. They have certainly gone all out this year especially with the Jen Ceballos x Mango collaboration and especially when it comes to their dress collection. I have styled up some items that have caught my eye this week.

Satin skirt, Earrings, Bag, Heels, White blouse

Style tip: If you don’t want to opt for the full glam of wearing a dress or you simply need something that has a bit more versatility in order to build multiple outfits over the season, go for a classic skirt blouse number in any classic fabric such as silk, satin, lace or even leather.

Velvet and lace dress, Clutch bag, Shoes, Bangle, Earrings

Style tip: Have fun with your holiday dress! Quite often we think that holiday dresses should be plain, sequinned or knitted. Go for something a little out of the box as this means that you will also be able to wear your dress to any other future events that may not even relate to the holiday season.

Bag, Cream jumper, Grey cardigan, Long wool skirt , Silver bow heels, Silver scrappy heels, Earrings

Style tip: Honestly, ‘Cosy and Chic’ is normally my go to vibe for holiday events and celebrations. I love how much you can play around with textures, tones, fabrics and styles when trying to create this look. Go all out when pairing your choice of cute and chic accessories with layered cosy knits. If you are unsure on how to get the elevated cosy knitwear ‘right’, it’s always ‘tres chic’ to go with monochrome or two toned looks as a starting point.
