Friday Finds: H&M

H&M is my choice for this weeks Friday Finds post as it is a favourite of mine (dare I admit) that I have been purchasing from since I was 8 years old! I remember eagerly awaiting the day to to come around for when I can spend my birthday money on a cute pair of leggings or a jumper from Hennies. This week, I wanted to focus on cosy but chic outfits that are going to get me through my lazy days, chilled days and casual days out over the next few weeks especially as they have released the most inspiring Christmas edit. I also wanted to double up the post as also being a gift edit too as H&M has some amazing, beauty, home, and accessories which would make for chic and well thought out gifts too. The goal for styling is to always look as put together as possible but also to be true to myself when it comes to my outfit choices. I hope that I can inspire you to do the same with my below style pages.

Jumper, shirt, trousers, lace bra, earrings, ring, nail vanish, wine glasses, champagne glasses, ballet flats

Style tip: A two pieces in my opinion is a wardrobe essential. When choosing a two pieces, make sure that the set can be worn well alone and also separately with a wide range of colours. Pairing this two pieces with a cashmere jumper over the shoulders and some sparkly jewellery adds an element of effortless, cosy chicness to your outfit that otherwise would be missing without it. Gifting tip: Coloured glassware has made its appearance again and it looks like the 70s homeware staple isn’t going anywhere soon. when gifting coloured glassware, opt for something in a neutral tone as these shade can be used all year round and will always look chic against any other colour palette.

Jumper, bag, dress, earrings, shoes, nail vanish, silver mug, wool blend throw

Style tip: To keep things looking chic while styling a jumper over a dress, focus heavily on the accessories. Bold, stand out designs make the outfit look more put together and well thought about as well as solidifying an element of your own personality in your styling. Gifting tip: One thing that I am confident about is the fact that we all must of received a mug as a gift at some point of time in our lives. I really like a good mug as a gift even if it doesn’t go with my kitchen decor. The safe choice is to choose a mug that goes with the receivers home decor style but if you want to go for something a little outside of the box, go for one that matches their personal style instead.

Jumper, checked trousers, earrings, necklace, shoes, PJs, bedding, slippers

Style tip: Matching jewellery and a glam flat shoe can turn a simple wide leg jumper combo into a chic, put together outfit. To elevate your jumper and wide leg trouser look, pair it with matching statement jewellery that compliments the pattern choices which are on your outfit. Gifting tip: Nightwear in my opinion always makes for the best holiday gifts. If you want to take this gift to the next level, then add in a cosy, long, knitted cardigan which the recipient can use as they please. Also, pair a luxury pair of slippers and some luxury bedding to the gift too as this has that you have really thought about the gift as a whole.
