M&S is my shop of choice for this weeks Friday Finds post. I’ve been amazed at how good everything has been this season and I have had to show so much restraint anytime I’ve had a look online or in store. I have also been so inspired by all the styling videos that have been shared by content creators on TikTok. One stand out item which I had the chance to try on, is this checked midi dress. I was so blown away by this dress that I actually forgot to take pics and style it up! For this price point as well I couldn’t believe the quality, and versatility too. This week I will be styling this dress up in a few different ways to showcase it’s versatility.
Style tip: A long checked midi dress doesn’t often need much added to it to style it up and make it look put together. When airing with a textured cardigan, keep layering to a minimum.
Style tip: A pop of colour in the form of a jumper is a perfect way to inject more personality to an outfit like this. Opt for a colour that will be wearable with other outfits in your wardrobe and choose to wear the jumper over your shoulders.
Style tip: When experimenting with a classic, very British way of pattern clashing, choose to do this with items that are in a similar colour pallet.
