Hello! I thought it would be very fitting to post my very first lifestyle post today as yesterday, I took a trip into Central London, Covent Garden specifically, to see the Max Mara Fluffy Residence in real life. I have so many goals for my site next year which I cannot wait to share with my community, one of them is to introduce the lifestyle aspect of my blog and share all the wonderful travel, exhibition and foodie experience with you. Stay tuned as there will be so much to share with you all.
I have seen the Max Mara Fluffy Residence all over socials and I literally could not wait to be able to visit myself especially as I have been a lover of all things Max Mara for as long as I can remember. Over the past few years, we have been incredibly lucky in London as there have been so many immersive and interactive exhibitions taking place here which have had 100% free admission. It feels like an absolute privilege to be able to jump on the tube and go and experience these things in person, especially when it is an exhibition celebrating a designer that I have loved for the longest time.

For those of you who may not be familiar with Max Mara as a designer brand, they are one of the original brands that really lean deeply into the idea of quiet luxury. If you have ever wanted to fully understand quiet luxury or the ‘Old money trend’, then all you have to do is look back at Max Mara’s years of fashion and design runway service to understand what the perfect cocktail of timeless design, classic colour ways, and elegant styling really look like. I feel that Max Mara is one of the few designer brands today that have stayed true to their design origins and continue to create fashions, such as the Teddy coat, which has and continues to inspire the fashion industry in all areas of the fashion world.
The Max Mara Fluffy Residence is an experience to celebrate 10 years of Max Mara’s Teddy Bear Coat, and a it is a celebration with all things covered in literal teddy! They say that “the woman that Teddy welcomes into the Fluffy Residence adores design and fashion” and you will most certainly feel that the moment you walk through the fluffy doors. Every detail of the residence is immersed in intricate design. There is teddy fabric covered over everything, even things that you cannot even imagine like a tube of toothpaste and kitchen tools. This exhibition is fun, memorable and just like the ‘magic mirror’ it allows you to “generate your teddy alter ego”.
One of the most inviting things about The Max Mara Fluffy Residence experience is that you don’t necessarily need to book your free tickets, you can just show up! However to get priority access it is best to book and you can do that here.
